How small we are
Shades of turquoise
We get close enough
To break off pieces
That melt in our mouth

This is truly wonderful! I adore the strange and unexpected connection of landscape to something edible. The brief moment expands into a longer period of adoration with the implied lapse of time as the pieces "melt in our mouth." Also, I'm a big fan of giving the context for an otherwise universal moment only in the title - that makes this feel like a symbolist poem.
