Lovely. Those few words evoked an instant response and vivid, fully formed picture for me; especially as I'm just watching a female blackbird and her juvenile spreading their wings in the sun on my lawn.

A gratifying read today. Somewhat sad too. One winged blackbird- strong image. What he must see while he waits. Well done. Have a great day.

Very powerful. I got more from reading that than from some entire novels I've read. The strength of economy should never be underestimated!
