Difficult to come up with an original image for a lake, but you seem to have managed it. Congrats!

turpentine, spot on colour of the moon, how long did it take you to decide on it?Love the image, ldyllic winter image, iconic. I feel like icy cold of its momentary beauty.
It took a couple of reads, to tie it all together, with the title but when it did, oh, I sighed!
